Sunrise on the beach
I decided to get up early one morning and catch the sunrise on the ocean. Ryleigh and Bobby were still sleeping and Kim was too tired. Haylee wanted to go so we got dressed and ran down to the beach. We started walking and I started snapping away.

The beach
The beach was just how I remembered it from when I was little! Now I got to experience it with my daughter. It was her own ginormous sand box! She wasnt very fond of the waves coming in at first, but by the end of the trip she loved it. The first time the wave hit her feet and started to wash back into the ocean she lifted her feet up to get out of it. (I was holding her hands) Here are some of the beach pictures from the week.

She found her first sea shell

Our first full day at the beach
Kim showing Ryleigh the clams that dig in the sand. She must have sat there with Kim for over 30 min just digging and playing in the sand.

We are back!
Vacation was a blast! And worth every penny we spent! The trip down took about 12hrs. We left my house at around 1130 and picked Kim and Haylee up. We were on the road by midnight just like we wanted. We had hoped that by leaving at night the girls would sleep most of the trip down. Needless to say that didn't happen. The only thing we accomplished was Kim and Bobby being sick from lack of sleep. Ryleigh and Haylee finally fell asleep around 3am and only slept for about 2 hrs. The GPS was taking us on some scenic adventures too. It would tell us to exit the interstate, drive us around town and back on the interstate we went. Hmm... Then we would be driving down the interstate and it would say "turn left in .4 miles" and it would be a left into a fence! Good thing we didn't turn. I don't know how enterprise would have taken that. Can you see me trying to explain to them why the van was wrecked because the GPS told us to turn??
