Busy Busy Busy!

We leave for the beach on friday night! I am beyond excited for this vacation! We have so much to do in the coming days though! Ugh, Im worn out just thinking about it! Today I met with an online friend to look at her vehicle. We decided that it just wasnt going to provide us with the room we needed to travel down there. Then I went to Enterprise and we rented a minivan. Since my BFF and her DD are going with us we didnt want to take 2 cars. Tomorrow I will be doing the last of the laundry for this week and packing up my things, and finishing up Ryleighs things. In the evening we are going to SILs house to get my hair highlighted and trimmed, and Bobbys hair cut. Thursday I have an appt with the surgeon to figure out whats going to happen with my nose. Then in the evening Im going to have a pedi and mani with my BFF. Ive gotta look my best for the beach....right...LOL. Friday I have to pick up the minivan from enterprise and we have to start packing it. Then at around Midnight we leave for the 10+ hr trip!

Blessed

If I had to use just one word to describe my life right now it would be "blessed". When your little you always get the question "what do you want to be when you grow up" Early on I knew I wanted to be a mom. But thats not really an answer you hear from a child. I usually just said a teacher. The older I got it got more clear that I wanted to be a SAHM. My parents pushed and pushed for me to go to college. I was there for 2 wasteful years before I knew college just wasnt for me. I got good grades, but I just couldnt see myself being a teacher. When I closed my eyes and imagined my life in 5 yrs I could see kids running around, and a wonderful family.

I have an amazing husband who I met in Aug. 1999. We were Married 4 yrs ago. He has let me live my dream of raising our daughter here at home. He is a great dad too!

I have the daughter I have always dreamed of having. I prayed and prayed years before I was even pregnant for a daughter. I get to dress her up, fix her hair and put pretty bows in her hair. We have so much fun together going here and there. Even when we stay home we have fun building igloos, playing with her toys, reading, or just "nuggling" on the couch watching "toon toons".

I have parents who love me, Bobby and Ryleigh! They would do just about anything for us. When I see how happy Ryleigh makes them, it makes me love her even more. If thats even possible....LOL.

Last but not least I have the most amazing friends a person could ever ask for. I have so much fun hanging out with them and there kids.

So thanks to my family, and my friends for making me so very blessed. I love you guys!

Ryleigh update

Ryleigh is going to be 18 months in a week and a half! Where has the time gone?

Ryleigh absolutly amazes me every day. Shes constantly saying new things and doing new things. My favorite thing to do is just sit and watch her when she doesnt know im looking. There are days where she just has me in stitches laughing at the stuff she says and does. Shes so rotten!

Shes talking so much now. Ive lost count of how many words shes saying. Its got to be btw 50-100 now at least. And shes putting 2 words together now also. The other day I asked her if she wanted lunch. She said Yes. I said ok, lets go. She started walking towards the kitchen saying "lets go, lets go" LOL. The next morning she woke up and all I heard was "Lets go, lets go" Then I heard her throwning her baby dolls out of her crib and saying "BOOM" As each one of them hit the floor.

She is constantly on the go! She has to be doing something at all times. She finally has started watching cartoons, aka "toon toons". My sister gave her a bean bag and she LOVES it, she will actually sit now and watch cartoons for about 15 min-30 min before she comes looking for me. It gives me time to get things done around the house.

She has also decided to be a PICKY PICKY eater. Lucky me...LOL. Im having a really hard time getting her to eat anything. Ive started giving her an extra cup of milk. When I go to the dr for her 18 mo. check Im going to see if I should start giving her pediasure or something. Foods that she normally loved, shes turning her nose up at them. AAAAAAHHHH.

Bad Luck

Ive had such a string of bad luck lately! First was the whole nose thing, then I started getting sick. It was flu like symptoms, then I started feeling a little better and my ear started bothering me. By the next day (a sunday) I was in horrible pain. I had my mom take me to the ER and the dr said I had a buldging ear drum. I walked out to the car and my ear started leaking. I didnt really think anything of it. We picked up my prescriptions and my mom dropped me off at my house and took Ryleigh with her. My ear kept leaking more and more. When I woke up from my nap my pillow had yellow stuff all over it and my hair and the side of my face was crusty. EWW! Bobby picked me up at home after work and we went to my moms for sunday dinner. My mom made me call the ER to see if that was normal. They said I needed to come back in. Bobby took Ryleigh home and my mom took me to the ER again. When I went back I had a ruptured ear drum, double ear infection, throat infection and a sinus infection. I lost the hearing in my left ear temporarily. Its been about 3 weeks since it happened and Ive gotten most of the hearing back, but it still sounds a bit muffled. I go to the ENT on wed. for a check up and hearing test to see if there was any damage done.
