Yesterday and today Ryleigh has been getting lots of new thing. I am tying to get her on all table foods. Yesterday she had some Progresso Chicken noodle soup (Low sodium)with some crackers. Last night she had Hamburger helper Cheezy Hashbrown. She LOVED it and couldnt get enough of it. Today she had a waffle with a little bit of Butter for Breakfast and a half a grill cheeze sandwich and tomato soup for lunch. She LOVED the waffle and grilled cheeze, but wasnt to sure about the tomato soup. After a few bits she was fine, but still doesnt care much for it. Any ideas on some other things she could try? I need to get her some fruit at the store next week. Here are some pictures of her trying her new things.
MMM...Cheesy Hashbrown
Hmm, what is this. Its good.
I dont know about this soup mom.

sounds like my niece--once she got started on real food, she wouldn't ever touch the baby stuff again! Now she eats everything--including broccoli!
I know she and her older sister really like the microwaveable ravioli they have for kids. . . not sure how healthy it is, though.
Hello, Michelle sent me...to let you know I think Ryleigh is just adorable...new foods...huh...how about string beans?...they usually like those.
I remember the days of starting all those new foods! Fun, fun! My daughter LOVED table foods, and once she got a taste of it she refused baby food. She wsa on all table food by 10 months. One thing I did for her was make rice pilafs with lots of vegies thrown in. She loved corn on the cob...didn't get a whole lot from it, but she sure did have fun! Great for teething, too.
P.S. She is so cute! I love her expression in the last one.
Good luck with getting Ryleigh to love real food: but also, beware that however well she eats it now, in a little while she'll turn her nose up at anything you want her to eat! And she won't even be a teenager by then:-)
Michele sent me,

I love these pictures and observations, Tiffany. I remember these moments so well, and I hold onto them as best I can. You're so wise to document them here: she'll treasure this when she's older.
Table foods are great fun, she looks like she is loving them - there is so much you can offer, don't be fooled by the lack of teeth those gums are tought. Fruits are great, cereals, toast/sandwhiches - pastas - spagetti is a great one for fun factor, vegtable sticks (try roasting some in chip shape) , really anything you eat can be adjusted for the babys
Excellent picture; they capture the expressions well.
no suggestions, I am still trying to figure out what to try. Just wanted to say I am glad she is enjoying the food and she is just too cute!
