Been thinking

Before Ryleigh was born Bobby and I had a talk about getting her dedicated. We talked about who the god parents would be. To me being a god parent is a serious thing. You are choosing someone to take care of your child in the event of your death. In the end Bobby and I absolutly could not come to a decision on who those people would be. Luckaly our church doesnt have god parents so it was fine.
Last week at MOPS we has a Lawyer come and talk about Estate Planning. He talked about Power of Attorney and Medical Power of Attorney. It got me thinking again about this subject of what would happen to Ryleigh if Bobby and I both were to die. I was talking to Bobby about this again, and again we couldnt even come close to an agreement. Do any of you have god parents or a power of attorney? Any advice?

Nadia has a Godmother...but honestly we aren't 100% if that's who would get Nadia in the event of our deaths. We really need to finalize that decision and make a will. It's hard, isn't it?!

My hubby & i couldn't decide who to choose as godparents, because (like Christina) we weren't sure if they'd be the actual caregivers or if it'd just be a ceremonial thing. So we ended up not acting on anything.

This is a desicion we have made, the girls would go to my parents. We do have wills saying where money and stuff would go but nothing official about custody. I keep asking dh to bring it up with his mum

We talked about it too. We have not made a final desicion either. We need to. When it comes down to it my sister and brother in law would most likely be the ones we would live our kids too. We know we can trust them if anything ever happened. Good luck on it. It is a hard desicion to make.
